GASTRONOMY
Without a doubt, we are in an environment where we feel very proud of its gastronomy, our agriculture and our livestock, from the best wines (Bodegas Iniesta, SeñorÃo del Jucar, Vega Tolosa, los Pelayos, Viaril...) great winemakers of our region, but without overlooking our most fashionable Chefs (Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo) awarded the first prize at Madrid Fusión 2021 with the best "Joselito" croquette in Spain and the best marinade, from the Cañitas Maite restaurant and now from its newly opened restaurant "OBA Restaurante", a stop not to be missed. We will also spend an unforgettable day at the El Mirador restaurant located at the top of Las eras de Alcalá de Júcar, ideal to take advantage of the day in Alcalá and visit this wonderful "viewpoint" of course, with a fantastic value-for-money typical local menu. In Jorquera we find 2 spectacular restaurants, ( the beach and the viewpoint ). Which one to choose? ....each of them has its charm and of course its spectacular menu, from simple dishes to delicatessen menus..., without overlooking one of the most beautiful landscapes in the area.
OBA RESTAURANT
After more than two years of working in silence while we combined and positioned Cañitas Maite as a gastronomic reference very open to all audiences with its wide range, creating a brand and a business where it could grow, Oba- was in gestation.

A differential space designed to enjoy an experience with its own identity, accompanied by personalized service, custom-made crockery, unique elements and a select winery.

29 months later Oba- was born as the most personal and daring project of Javier Sanz , Juan Sahuquillo and the great team that surrounds them.
The moment, our people, our environment are what mark the cycle of our kitchen, the ephemeral and the spontaneous are the order of the day and we must take advantage of each product and each moment.
